I am delighted to welcome you to the official website of the Garretson School District. Our district is located in Garretson, South Dakota, and our students come from Garretson, Sherman, and rural areas of Minnehaha County as well as Rock and Pipestone Counties in Minnesota. We offer small class sizes, an outstanding academic curriculum, and a variety of special programs and services to meet the needs of every student who enters our hallways.

As you browse this website to learn more about our district, we invite you to take advantage of some of the great tools and information available. Stay current with the latest newsletters, keep track of school events, or find out about employment opportunities. Use the drop down menus on the top of this page to quickly access information about everything from school menus to state testing scores, or visit our Elementary School, Middle School, and High School sites on the top to find information about some of the services our district provides. We hope you’ll bookmark this site and visit often!
